Verifying that you are dealing with us
Gold star, bullion and security are common words, and firms using similar names exist. Before sending money, documents or metal to anyone claiming to be us:
- Ring +44 744 190 4280 or +1 (718) 635-3339, dialled by you from this page, not a number in the message you received.
- Check that email came from the domain goldstarbullionsecurity.com and no other spelling of it.
- Put any reference you were given into the lookup on this site and see whether it resolves to a real record.
- Ask for the vault operator, the insurer and the policy limits in writing. A genuine custodian answers that in a document.
About the reference lookup
A reference that resolves on this site shows the status of a record in our system. It is evidence that a booking or an account exists here. It is not evidence that any third party has custody of anything, that a payment is due, or that goods will be released to you. Do not treat a tracking page anywhere, ours or anyone else's, as proof that money should change hands.
Prices on this site
The spot prices in the strip at the top of every page are readings taken from a third-party metals feed, stamped with the time they were taken. They are indicative only. They are not a dealing quote, not an offer, and not a valuation of anything held with us. Where the feed cannot be reached, the strip states the age of the last reading rather than presenting it as current.
Information on this site
The service descriptions on this site are general. Rates, capacities, transit times, duty treatment and insurance cover depend on the specific consignment and are confirmed in the quotation, the mandate or the policy, not here. Where a fact about this firm has not yet been evidenced, it is shown as a blank field rather than filled in.
No investment advice
Nothing on this site is investment advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any metal. We are a custodian and a carrier. We do not manage your money and we have no view on what your metal will be worth.
Liability
Carriage is undertaken on the terms of the applicable trading conditions and the carrier's contract of carriage, both of which limit liability. Those limits are low, and they are not insurance. Cargo and storage cover is arranged on request and exists when it is written on the instruction.
