What this site is
It describes services and provides account holders with a record of what we hold and move for them. It is not an offer, a quotation, a valuation, or advice.
Prices shown here
The spot prices in the strip at the top of every page are readings taken from a third-party metals feed and stamped with the time they were taken. They are indicative only. They are not a dealing quote, not an offer to buy or sell, and not a valuation of anything held with us. Where the feed cannot be reached, the strip states the age of the last reading rather than presenting it as current.
The reference lookup
A reference that resolves on this site shows the status of a record on our system. Read this carefully, because it is the point most often misunderstood:
- It is evidence that a booking or a deposit record exists here.
- It is not evidence that any third party holds anything.
- It is not evidence that a payment is due to anyone.
- It is not an instruction to send money to anybody.
Do not treat a tracking or certificate page (ours or anyone else's) as a reason to transfer funds. See the disclaimer and fraud warning.
Accounts
Vault and operations accounts are issued by us, not self-registered. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything done under your sign-in. Tell us at once if you think someone else has it. We may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect misuse, and will tell you why unless prevented by law.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Attempt to gain access to any account, record or system you are not entitled to.
- Enumerate reference numbers or otherwise probe for records that are not yours. Lookups are rate limited and logged.
- Introduce malicious code, or attempt to interfere with the availability of the site.
- Scrape, republish or resell content from this site without written permission.
- Use our name, marks or documents to represent yourself as us, or to give a third party the impression that goods or funds are held that are not.
We report attempts at the last of these to the police, and to the fraud reporting service in the relevant country, without exception.
Intellectual property
The content, design, code and marks on this site belong to us or our licensors. Nothing here transfers any right in them. You may print or download extracts for your own records.
Accuracy and availability
Service descriptions are general. Rates, capacities, transit times, duty treatment and insurance cover depend on the specific consignment and are confirmed in the quotation, the mandate or the policy, not here. We try to keep the site available but do not promise uninterrupted access, and may suspend it for maintenance.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information on this site. Liability for our services is dealt with in the terms of business, not here.

Where we link to another site we do not control it and are not responsible for its content. A link is not an endorsement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
