Each piece we hold is recorded as itself: serial number, refiner, fineness, gross and fine weight, and the vault it sits in. What you own is a list of bars, not a figure on a screen.
The same applies to the price. The strip above is the last reading our feed returned, stamped with the time it was taken, and drawn below against its own range.

What we do
Six services, quoted and documented separately. Custody and carriage are run by the same people, so nothing is handed to a stranger halfway through the journey.
Safe keeping
Vault custodyTreasury-grade vaults under continuous multi-layer security. Gold, silver, platinum, coin, jewellery, stones and documents. Basic and premium grades in central business districts.
Air freight
Worldwide, by airChargeable weight by the greater of actual and volumetric. Repacking to air cargo standard, agents for clearance and delivery at the far end, hazardous goods declared in advance.
Sea freight
Full and part loadsShared and dedicated containers, 20ft to 40ft high cube. Charged by weight or cubic measure, whichever is greater, within the 23,000 kg UK road limit.
Packing
Export packingHand-loaded, case by case. Fragile goods wrapped and topped out, strapped, corner-bound where it earns it, then shrink-wrapped opaque and palletised for fork handling.
Imports
Customs clearanceClearance inbound from ports worldwide against the air waybill or bill of lading, commercial invoice and packing list. Duty and VAT payable by the importer.
Tracking
Status and milestonesEvery consignment carries a reference from booking to delivery, with each milestone dated, located and entered by a named operator.

A custodian is worth exactly what it can evidence. These are the fields we publish. The ones we cannot yet fill are left blank rather than filled in.
