One cookie, and it only exists so a signed-in session works.
The short version
This site sets one cookie. It is strictly necessary, it carries no identifier that means anything outside this system, and it is deleted when you close the browser. There is no analytics, no advertising, no social media pixel, no A/B testing and no third-party tracker of any kind.
That is also why you are not being shown a consent banner. Under regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, a cookie strictly necessary to provide a service the user has requested does not require consent. Putting a banner in front of you for a cookie that is exempt would be theatre, so we have not.

What we deliberately do not load
- No third-party fonts. Typefaces are served from this domain, so reading a page does not disclose your IP address to a font provider.
- No analytics. We do not measure you.
- No advertising or remarketing tags.
- No embedded maps, videos or social widgets, each of which would set its own cookies.
The Content-Security-Policy this site sends is default-src 'self': the browser is instructed to refuse third-party resources outright, so this is enforced rather than merely promised.
Similar technologies
We do not use local storage, session storage, IndexedDB or fingerprinting to identify or track you. Server logs record IP addresses and request times for security, which is covered in the privacy notice.
Turning it off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking gsbs_session will not affect reading the public pages, but signing in to the vault will not work, because there would be nothing to remember you between one page and the next.
If this changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first, through a proper banner with a genuine reject option, and this page will be updated before that cookie is set.
